PSMG uses Eventogy’s Attendee App for its annual flagship conference
Simple to use
Gail Jaffa, Managing Partner of PSMG (seen at last year’s conference, above), explains why Eventogy is a good fit for PSMG: “Using the Eventogy Attendee App gives our delegates concise information, simple instructions, easy access. That is really important. The people we work with, in accountancy and law firms and other professional services are time poor and simply don’t have the bandwidth to worry about an app, how to operate it, whether it will work or not, if it gives them access to everything they need. Good for the environment
Milly Sutton organises the PSMG conference each year, and also owns My London Event. She expands on Gail’s comment: “Having run many conferences, I have experience of a wide range of solutions. Eventogy just works, so we didn’t hesitate to use it for our event for a second year running. It is simple to access the information and helps us meet our aim of being a green conference. Gone are the days where you’d get a massive, wasteful, printed conference pack – or at least they are for us! It’s good for the environment and helps us keep our costs down too. The attendees appreciate this too – we haven’t had a single complaint about the lack of a physical conference pack – or about any aspect of the app, in fact.”
Great to work with

We got lots of advice and help, they are very responsive. Getting the information into the app was straightforward, and keeping it up to date as the programme changed was easy too, even on the day. If ever there was an issue, it was resolved immediately.”
Secure yet accessible
Part of the appeal of the Eventogy app is its accessibility. Many PSMG members use a business phone and the app needed to work in that more rigorous environment, where firewalls and security restrictions are standard. Because so many of Eventogy’s clients are legal and finance firms, the platform and the app have been built with high levels of security and data protection and PSMG encountered no issues in this respect. Milly says, “Everyone was able to use the app no matter what smartphone they had and it was a very fast process. Simplicity was key and attendees really appreciated that.”
Making it easy to network
As to event engagement, Gail comments, “Eventogy is great for our members who want to connect before, during and after the event. The app makes it easy for anyone who is registered (and who consents) to connect with other attendees, which is enormously useful when you want to network at a busy conference where there’s so much going on.” She concludes, “In all honesty, without the Eventogy app we’d find it very difficult to stage our conference, it is integral to the success of the event.”
